Most everyone has practiced yoga poses and has wanted to know how each type of stretch can specifically improve their physiological health. There are 16 meridian/muscle groups, thus 16 types of stretches associated with yoga poses along with 16 types of health benefits associated with Traditional Chinese Medicine.
More than two decades ago, I identified the exact concomitance with 16 meridian muscle groups and the physiological health consistent with TCM. What you will learn:
- First, we will use Resistance Flexibility while stretching in different yoga poses to identify the organ/physiological health benefits.
- Second, we will identify the type of tissue: i.e. tendons, cartilage, bone, circulation, etc that is concomitant with each organ/meridian.
